Davenport Hotel
The Davenport Hotel has been world famous since it opened in September of 1914. It was the first hotel with air conditioning, a central vacuum system, housekeeping carts (designed by Louis Davenport himself), accordion ballroom doors and Crab Louis (named for Louis Davenport).

Recently remodeled and restored to it's original grandeur, the Davenport Hotel is not just a place to stay in Spokane as much as a place to experience.

Colonel William Ridpath opened the doors of the Ridpath Hotel in the heart of downtown Spokane in the early 1900s.
