The 4th of July Neighbor Day celebration in Riverfront Park is an annual community event that celebrates Independence Day with great family activities, food, music, arts and crafts, culminating in a spectacular fireworks extravaganza.
Bloomsday is the largest timed road race in the world. The race, located in Spokane, Washington, is 7.46 miles long. It is held the first Sunday of every May and regularly draws 50,000 runners a year.

Celebrate New Year's Eve at First Night Spokane. 100,000 people jam the downtown streets and Riverfront Park annually for First Night Spokane. The largest New Year’s celebration and blend of visual and performing arts in the Inland Northwest!
Hoopfest, started in 1989, is the largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the world. It is held the last weekend in June every year. Participants can range kids to NBA players. More than 40,000 people attend this event every year.

Pig Out in the Park is an annual food and entertainment event in Riverfront Park. This Labor Day celebration has signaled the end of summer and the beginning of five days of free live music and dozens of great food booths for over 25 years. The annual Spokane Lilac Festival Armed Forces Torchlight Parade is a great springtime celebration that is always on the third Saturday in May, Armed Forces Day. Honoring the men and women of all branches of the United States military services and featuring parade floats and performances by local high school bands.
|The Battle of Spokane Falls|
The Battle of Spokane Falls is a Civil War reenactment held at Riverside State park, just outside Spokane. Reenactment units from all over the country travel here to participate. It is held every memorial day weekend.
