Bloomsday is the largest timed road race in the world. The race, located in Spokane, Washington, is 7.46 miles long. It is held the first Sunday of every May and regularly draws 50,000 runners a year.

Pig Out in the Park is an annual food and entertainment event in Riverfront Park.
